The Contra Costa County Historical Society presents Mount Diablo Aerial Beacon Restoration Talk  by John Gallagher

In 2013, volunteers John Gallagher and Dick Heron began the restoration process for the Aerial Beacon atop Mount Diablo. What began as a small twinkle in the eyes of volunteers exploded into a community-wide effort.

Join us as John recounts the process of how the historic aerial beacon was restored so that it may continue to shine on Contra Costa County.

John’s talk begins at 4:30 p.m.
