 The John Muir Association and the Martinez Historical Society invite you to a presentation of the history and development of the Alhambra Valley.

Most americans are familiar with John Muir's national prominence as a preservationist but few are aware of the resources that became available to him by marrying into a wealthy ranching Martinez family.

The presentation by National Park Ranger 1 Andrew "Andy" Marker will walk is one step farther and delve into the past, present and future effects o their legacies.
