The Annual Hanukkah Community Celebration in Downtown Martinez, California in 2024 will take place from December 25, 2024 to January 2, 2025:
  • Dates
    The celebration will take place every evening at dusk at the Main Street Plaza.
  • Activities
    The celebration will include traditional menorah lighting, music, sufganiyot, and family fun. 
Hanukkah, also known as Chanukah, is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. The holiday is celebrated with nightly menorah lightings, special prayers, traditional foods, gift exchanges, and playing dreidel.
